2015 Spring Bucket List

2015 Spring Bucket List

Friday, March 20th marked the first official day of Spring 2015 & what a glorious day that was in the south. The birds were chirping, squirrels were skipping, buds were blooming, the sun was shining, & the puppies were at their fluffiest! Spring is one of my favorite seasons. I know every season comes with its own set of pitfalls (for Spring, it’s allergy season!), but I say with a bit of Flonase & vitamin C injections, Spring is just about perfect!!

Spring brings about a multitude of choices for colorful activities and I want to do them all. Unfortunately, I am only but a human & can’t do every single thing that the Spring season has to offer. So, today I stick with a small bucket list of 12 things I want to do this short season we call Spring. I present to you:

Grace, Faith, & Glitter’s 2015 Spring Bucket List

  1. Visit a garden
Maybe the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, since I have  yet to go!
  2. Go on a picnic with friends
    Plans already in the making!
  3. Plants some herbs
Legal herbs — like rosemary, thyme, mint — to be specific.
  4. Have a yard sale
From all the spring cleaning I’m going to be doing, I’m bound to have a pile of junk waiting to be re-loved on.
  5. Go on an Easter Egg hunt
I don’t care how old you are. You are never too old for an easter egg hunt!
  6. Bring someone flowers
Trader Joe’s has the best deals on the prettiest flowers to DIY your own custom bouquet.
  7. Wear dresses for a whole week
A whole week without having to wear pants?? Yes please!!
  8. Hold a baby chick
I’m pretty sure Spring baby animals are the fluffiest baby animals of them all, so I definitely want to get some snuggles from something extra fluffy this Spring.
  9. Go to a baseball game
I haven’t decided if little league counts, but regardless, I’m set on partaking in America’s favorite sport. Why it’s America’s favorite…I have no idea!
  10. Bake a gluten free fresh strawberry cake
    Possible recipe post coming soon!!
  11. Send someone a card on a rainy day
Literally on a rainy day. Of course, it’s nice to send someone a card when they’re feeling down, but I’m going to use the rain to be my reminder to send someone I love a card just because.
  12. Shop at a Farmers’ Market
I need to do this more often any way! Anyone know of any good Gwinnett County Farmers’ Markets in the Spring?

What’s on your Spring Bucket List this year??
